would you say this would be hard to do?

Hello everyone!
so i just finished with the installation of dolphin by boonex on my webserver and now im wantng to customize it a bit. im at an intimidate level with html css and im alright at php. would you say its rather hard if id want to push the whole template of the website down and put kind of a rotating jquery plugin to view different images?
