Looking for a step by step CSS tutorial :(

so i need a tutorial and i can’t find one that explains how to write a webpage using html with css.

i know very little css.. (sadly) is just confusing me bad cuz i spent so many years writing in simple outdated html.

all the tutorials i’ve came accross do NOT get to the point of where i can understand.

i need a table, need to know how to change text sizes etc without using depreciative <font face”blah” size=2″>text here</font>.

htmlgoodies was mediocre at best. still not the easiest to understand when it skips information i need.

i like that w3c cheatsheet tho! is coming in handy.

but say i wanted to put image / a table / <center> or even simple text into my page? i dont know how h1 works even. do you need a h1 thru h6 everytime you want to type text with attributes? any one point me in the direction of a great easy yet VERY informative css tutorial? ONE that goes up to advanced css as well.

@SilversidesAug 07.2012 — Check out the nettuts learn html and css in 30 days series between that and Google searching what you want to do to the html you should be able to figure out the basics.

You know little CSS. And there is nothing sad in that to say so. Atleast now you can know about it. Its very simple to learn html and css. Learn the basics in both and be strong in the basics. So that you can step forward in designing a web site. You can see both html and css w3schools. Web technologies ebooks provides you even more knowledge. Because in those server and client-side scripting also available.

recently i have read,if website validate on w3 than Google bots count one factor on ranking..
