Are Nofollow Links good?

Many off-page seo techniques provide nofollow back-links to our website. I want to know weather these nofollow links are beneficial for our website’s ranking or not.

All a no-follow link does is stop authority and page rank FROM the linking page from transferring to your page. But ALL links are counted as votes, and carry the same weight, they just don't pass what is known as "link juice".

no follow tag actually tells google not to consider the link a popularity....

and no follow links are important...and it is also proven by SEO experts that no follow links for high authority pages can help your site to improve SERP....

do personally i don't bother dofollow or nofollow as long as the site is a good one....

Though Google have the majority of the market, it's not the only thing in the world. I myself uses Google as 2nd to Yahoo as my search engine.

i would like to say that links with ratio.

if you have 80% 20% ratio of linking that would be good for ranking...

just make sure that from where you are getting links.
