Making a bell curve graph

Hi all, i’m new to the forums and new to javascript. I am looking to pull data from a database to create a bell curve graph on a website and was wondering resources or information I could look at that could help me get a start on such a thing. I know this is way too complex for a complete answer here, but just looking for a start.

for reference im looking to do something similar to truecar, that gives an average price over a bell curve, obviously not for car purchasing.

looking for any help or advice….thanks!

@xelawhoJul 21.2012 — oddly enough, the most complicated thing would probably be getting your line to curve smoothly. I'd have a look at a visualization API like google charts
