Hi…
I am just a small-business rapid-development web programmer, but I have been approached by a company who do building inspections to create web pages their inspectors can use on the job to enter their info and have it stored in a MySql database (I suggested using a UNIX server).
It’s mostly straightforward, but gets a little tricky with the calculations and math, and although I am a trained programmer I already know I can’t handle that part – not really interested, if the truth be known.
I suggested starting out with cross-platform software (Visual Something – C, C++ whatever – compiled) and porting it to OC, Apple, iPad, Android, etc., so I guess I am really looking for someone who can do this kind of work at the beginning with php and again at the end in the compiled software. But they want to start out working in a browser and go from there.
Obviously you would need current skills in php and all of the above.
