Replace string that includes "@"

Hi Everybody,

I would like to remove an email address from a given string. I tried to using the replace() method, but it won’t work.
var input=”[email protected],[email protected],[email protected],[email protected]”;
var replaceMail = “[email protected]”;

var result = input.replace(/replaceMail /gi,”);
The result should be:
var input=”[email protected],,[email protected],[email protected]”;
How can I manage it with RegExp to get the expected result? I think the problem occurs with the “@” character!?

Thanks in advance!

var replaceMail = "[email protected]";
X=new RegExp(replaceMail,'gi');
var result = input.replace(X,'');
alert(result);
