It is indeed hard to design web in professional manner so that it satisfied customer at 100%. This is what makes a professional to champion. Thus in my opinion web development is the most challenging task for any professional. It should be creative, fast and accurate. Then only it is possible to survive in the market and gives good return as well.

100 percent agree with you. You never satisfied the customer unless you not hit his needs.

One thing I have found to please my customers is to explain exactly how I arrived at that design. For example you could say I placed this box here because I wanted it to have the most attention or I used this color because I feel it reflected your industry.

When I started designing I used to just say "here's your design I came up with" and then they would come back and say "well that's not quite what I had in mind".

But if you help them to understand how you came up with that design, why you chose certain things. They will understand your design better and they will trust your opinion better. My customers like my honesty. If they ask me to design something a certain way and I don't agree with the way they're doing it, I will let them know. But I won't just let them know that I disagree I will tell them exactly why I disagree. There's more to designing a website then just pretty colors, words and pictures and if you can help them understand that, then you'll be the one that they go to for answers.

This is often because it’s large and set at what has been shown in studies to be the first place people look (the top left). his is a good thing since you probably want a user to immediately know what site they are viewing.
