Starting Up

I am just starting up new e-shop type web site. Iinitially it will be simple with a no brainer Home Page, List of Products, Ordering and Customer Registration etc. In the future, it will carry out checks to see if a customer is in area, take payments etc. Nothing unduly complicated – but there is no point in rebuilding the wheel. So I am contemplating an off the shelf product.

I would value anyone’s thoughts / views on using 1&1 or any better alternatives to it…
