mouseover asisstance?

ok, it’s been FOREVER since i coded anything!

with that said……

i wanna put some text links on the lower left, then when they’re moused over to display a short description in the center (perhaps a div?)

would javascript be best for this?

does anyone know of a good tutorial or maybe even some code i can gank?

well, that HILITES stuff when you roll over them.

i'm aiming to get text to suddenly appear in an area of the page when you mouseover the text link menu...
