URL Capitalization Load Failure

Hello,

Timothy here. I’m new to the forum. Looks great.

The issue I need help to solve is the following:

When I use lower-case URLs, such as, [url]www.domain.com/subdirectory[/url], the website will perfectly. But if I ever have an capialized letters in the URL, like, [url]www.Domain.com/Subdirectory[/url] it gives me a 404 page not found.

What can I do to have pages load, even if there is a capitalized letter, like in the example?

@hyperionXSMar 02.2012 — Domain name will already be lowercase. Doesn't matter is you access example.com, ExAmPLE.com or eXampLe.com. The domain is the same.

But because on linux folder name is case sensitive, subdirectory and Subdirectory are two different directories. That's why I don't advice you to make 'subdirectory' accesible through 'Subdirectory'. If you already have links to Subdirectory, have a htaccess (or server side scripting you are using) redirect 301 to subdirectory. Or viceversa
