Hi Guys,
My requirement is for a NGO to create a standalone web app for monitoring operations in a village. XP machine with PWS or IIS as server and same machine as client. Could be 1 or 2 more would be networked in this environment. Classic ASP and HTML is the way this app should work. Mainly intended for computer illiterate users to streamline the operations.
The design is in such a way that the clicks are more user interactive with way of catchy images and audio. Wanted to acheive this using a Single Window / Page App than opening multiple link pages. Enclosed is the design.
Area where I’m stuck is
1) when I want to show & clear the content area when I click on different menu choices & sub menu choices.
2) how do I put all the different things in a single classic asp file. I tried using VB Script and do the Sub procedures, but except IE, I get problems in all other browsers.
I’m not very familiar with AJAX and do not know whether the area would be updated so often to support newer technologies.
