WAnna learn Flash

Hey guys i wanna learn flash but don’t know how to start with casue whenever i open it, it looks very complicated.:-(
Anyone of you who knows about a book or a place where i can learn to make simple flash cartoons?
I am using flash MX 2004 version. (full not demo)
