Configuring MySQL with PHP on Apache (Windows)

I used to run my home PC with Windows 98, PWS, PHP and MySQL. It didn’t run very well … but it ran.

I’ve rebuilt that PC with Windows 2000 and Apache (which works), and PHP (which works), but I can’t get PHP to recognise that MySQL is installed.

MySQL shows up as a service, I use MySQL Front (dbase admin tool) and that attaches fine, and I can log into MySQL through the command prompt, no problem.

For some unknown reason, PHP doesn’t recognise that it’s running. Has anyone witnessed this before?

Any help most appreciated!
Ash
