Global Abatement
<script>
var MYAPP = {};

MYAPP.stooge = {
“first-name”: “Joe”,
“last-name”: “Howard”
};

document.write(MYAPP.stooge.first-name);

</script>
Result is “NAN”. How to get the result as “Joe”?

@Sup3rkirbyDec 16.2011 — When declaring variables in a class you don't put the variable names in quotations. You also cannot use the hyphen in a variable name so you'll have to substitute or remove it altogether.
<script>
var MYAPP = {};

MYAPP.stooge = {
first_name: "Joe",
last_name: "Howard"
};

document.write(MYAPP.stooge.first_name);

</script>
