Interactive usa map

Hey guys, I’m not sure if this should be in this section or possibly javascript, but I was wondering if you could tell me a site for help or some advice on how to have a picture of the United States and each state have it’s own attribute. I want it to be able to allow a user to select a state and it pass the selection to another page that connects to my database and pulls certain items that belong to that state.

@tedscoffeeFeb 21.2012 — This can be done easily using this mapping software, which comes with few United State map templates. You can easily set the color attributes of each state, as well as define their links, mouseover effects and popup info box content.
