BankLinks – Anchor Text Doubt for Directory Submission

Brothers,
I have some doubt about anchor text and directory submissions. Need your advice and help.

Say I have a “Shoe” selling website. And I have 5 main pages. Except my hope page, each page has a target keyword or anchor text. So, I have 4 different keywords and anchor text.

Say my pages are –
1st page – Homepage or landing page – no target keyword or anchor text.
2nd page – target keyword or anchor text is – [B]Red shoe[/B]
3rd page – target keyword or anchor text is – [B]Black shoe[/B]
4th page – target keyword or anchor text is – [B]White shoe[/B]
5th page – target keyword or anchor text is – [B]Brown shoe[/B]

Now my questions are –
1. Now who do you submit your website to different directories with different anchor text?
2. Is it a good strategy to submit your website with different anchor text or a bad strategy?
3. Should I only submit my home page with different keywords or should I submit my targeted page with targeted keyword and anchor text?
4. Do I have to submit my website like – [COLOR=”#0000FF”]http://www.shoe.com/red-shoe[/COLOR] (and anchor text – [B]Red Shoe[/B])
Or
[COLOR=”#0000FF”]http://www.shoe.com[/COLOR] (and anchor text – [B]Red Shoe[/B] or [B]Black Shoe[/B])?
5. How can I submit my websites to different directories with my different keywords or anchor text?
6. What is the best directory submission strategy with different keywords?

I don’t know whether I sound like a dumb here. but, I really need your help as I am new to this website business or optimization.

@Ecom-host-guruDec 18.2011 — It seems like lately the search engines like the deep links, ie like the red shoe text going to the red shoe page versus just links to the homepage. That being said if you are doing directory submissions many directories want your homepage and not a subpage so you will need to look at that. But if for instance you are giving information relevant to a particular page of your website then you should definitely link to that particular page instead of your homepage.

Since Google Panda slapping sites whose affected by other banned sites, directory submission become waste of time. Only these directory add some value to your money site

brother, i am not doing 1000 directory submissions or 3000 directory submissions. i will submit to 200-300 top directories. i think good directories are still important. submitting in useless or PR0 directories are useless however, good PR directories are still add some value to your site. this is my personal opinion.

and it's very difficult to be listed in Yahoo Directory or Business.com or Dmoz.

you will never now whether they are gonna list you...

    I will submit my home page and also inner pages with different anchor text; however, I will give priority to Home page.

    Yes, it's a good strategy to submit a website with different title, description and anchor tag. However, all these must relate to your webpage.

    You should target all your targeted pages including your home page (which is also a landing page). It depends on your optimization skills-set, how to execute and implement them properly.

    There are thousands of websites which accepts only home pages; however, there are a few directories which accepts inner pages too. While you are submitting a website, go through the category and check whether there are some inner pages or not. If there are, you can post your inner pages too. Some directories accepts High PR inner-pages.


  • 5. How can I submit my websites to different directories with my different keywords or anchor text?

    Let us consider, you have 100 directories. Submit your website's most competitive tags to 70 directories and next most appropriate meta tags in remaining directories.


  • 6. What is the best directory submission strategy with different keywords?

    While you are submitting your website, whether it is a homepage or inner page, check the category first. Don't submit your website in other unrelated category, it's not worth for you.
