Hi guys told me that H1 tags in not a part of meta tags in search engine optimization but i am not sure. Can anyone tell me about it? Is H1 tags a part of meta tags or not? I am waiting for your valuable answer. Thank you in advance.
@C_RebeccaDec 01.2011 — #In my opinion, Heading tags (H1 to H6) are not a part of meta tags (meta description tag, meta title tag, meta http-equiv tag, meta refresh tag, etc..).Meta tags are usually used to provide meta information to SE’s while header tags are for users.

Heading tags( <H1>....</H1>) are used to display headings ranging from h1 to h6. <h1> defines the most important heading while <h6> defines the least important heading. Search engines use your headings to index the structure and content of your web pages.

Search engines will analyze the entire page and not just the meta tags for search engine listings.
