Hi,
I’m a code newbie who only knows xhtml and css, and little bit of javascript. I am thinking to set up a contact us form using pre-existing jQuery form.
The question is, after I added the form on my site, [B]what is the most common and or easiest way to send a message from contact form to my email address?
I found too many article about this topic, such as PHPmailer, Drupal, Contact Form 7, CGI, etc, and over flood with information. I don’t know where to start so I thought I should ask for a professional advice.
Just to give you more info on my site:
– I’m thinking to use some jQuery contact us form called “A Fancy AJAX Contact Form” with validation and simple captcha function.
[url]http://tutorialzine.com/2009/09/fancy-contact-form/– I need “Your name”, “Your email address”, “Message” information to be sent on my email address.– My site is static, non CMS site.– Server is PHP, supports secure/non-secure SMTP.– I know NOTHING about PHP, but if there are a good instruction then I can follow it step by step.– My email address is with my domain name, so not gmail / hotmail but more like “– (Optional) Some of my potential clients are in Asian country so support on multi-language would be nice (but not necessary).
Your idea input would be much appreciated.
