@JunkMaleNov 14.2011 — And now in english please?

JSON is JavaScript Object Notation which is a way of scripting like prototyping, JSON is useful for developing functions that are housed under one variable.

So in answer to your question, it will largely depend on the framework that your using so your best off asking in the vendors forum or rephrase your question and clarify what it is your having a problem with and if you post any code, please wrap it in tags.

@Declan1991Nov 14.2011 — Well, not quite. JSON is exactly what it says it is, a short-hand notation for Objects and Arrays. Since it is a short-hand notation, unsurprisingly, it is good for creating objects, which is why it's often used to create namespaces.

@ad1, if you give us information, it will encourage people to answer, and provide them with the information they need to answer the question. You will find that people are unwilling to guess at what you are trying to say, and will totally ignore you.

@ad1authorNov 15.2011 — • Create an html page that has a numbered list of items.

• A user must be able to add an item to the list, and remove one or more items from the list.

• There must be a way to retrieve the current state of the list as a JSON string, and a way to restore state from a JSON string

I finished first two parts and stuck on the last part any help will be appreciated

@JunkMaleNov 15.2011 — Some nicely tag wrapped code would help, people can not help you unless you give them an example of what your current code is and explain what your expecting the code to do.
