Help in http refering

Hello everyone,

I have a website, and my friend also has a website
We would like to work together by that I direct users to his site with a link in mine.
We would like to count (separately) the number of times they entered his site through my site.

How I can make such count?
How he could do such counting?

@DeveloperBillOct 30.2011 — He should sign up for a free Google Analytics account. It has a "Traffic Sources" report and under "Referrals" you will see when they entered his site from yours.

@aj_nscOct 30.2011 — Or you could do it with your own google analytics account and set up a custom event so that every time a user clicks the link to your friend's site you could track it as a custom event in your own analytics account.
