Javascript questions

hi i’m new in Javascript
i’m coding a very complicated table (you can see it here: [url]http://jsfiddle.net/webYa73/xuw23/[/url]) and i have a lot of questions:

1) “1Col”: how can i show in Javascript a text box (with info from the database) attached to the input box

2) “2Col”: If i choose in the select box “case6” a) a button appears near the “3col” input field b) the edit button changes and instead we see a save button and cancel button, how can i’m implement it in javascript
