Problem with a stripe at the bottom of the browser.

This is driving me nuts.

I’m trying to find out how to cover it. You can check it out here:

just at the bottom there’s a blue stripe which is the background actually. I’ve tried many things in order to cover it with the element div.bg-bottom

What do I need to do? Any help is welcome.

I couldnt wade through all of that. I'm not sure what's causing it but adding height:280px; to div.bg-bottom seems to do just fine for a fix from what I'm seeing.

I purchased this template to a well-known company who sell Joomla templates. I only did minor changes to it. Do you think the amount of external files could mess up the DOM, the way the browsers deal with the page or something like that? I checked that error was happening in all the main broswers (FF, IE, Chrome).

Regarding the page weight, well, for the sake of our business we need big descriptive pictures. I'll try to compress the JPG's a little more though.

What's that Yslow thing you used?
