lightbox problem

i have a lightbox gallery..

when you enter the gallery page, if one of the photos is clicked before all the images are loaded lightbox doesn’t work. instead the image opens up in window and the user has to go back one page in order get back to the gallery. it takes some time before the page is fully loaded and i don’t anybody would wait for that.

what can i do so that lightbox pops up every time an image is clicked even if the page is not completely loaded?
