is there any setup for mail() function?

Hi guys,

I just want to know if there’s any setup needed using the mail() function of php. I’ve created a site already using this function and works fine. But now I’m having a problem with sending email in another server. The mail() function always returns “false”. What are, or the possible problems why this happens?
