How do you add an image uploader to your site?

I want to add an input box with a button next to it that, when you paste a link to an image in the input box and press the button it uploads or shows the image in the section below.

Can someone do this for me please?

I want you to make it using the get element by ID functions and the append child functions and all that… Thank you

@SMTSSep 03.2011 — This can't be done with javaScript. Certainly, you could dynamically make a 'img' element with JavaScript and show the picture if it's a URL, but this is not helpful when dealing with files on one's computer.

You will need a server and PHP to upload files.
