Menu
Hello all.
I’m relatively new to PHP (I’ve done a basic course and some reading so far) and I’m just looking for some advice on where to start with a problem I have. I need to get a page done asap so I don’t have time to learn every bit of PHP at the moment but I will be soon.
Basically I have a drop down menu with lists of ‘services provided’. The user can click one item in the drop down menu and choose a service and then all of the people in the database who offer this service will show up in a gallery with links to their personal page.
I started doing this with simple javascript, linking the dropdown services to separate pages but it means making every page separately and updating them will take a long time. I’d prefer to use PHP as it makes more sense.
I’m just a bit lost on how to go about this. If I have an idea of where to start I can read about how to do it instead of learning every bit of PHP right now. I just don’t have the time.
