We are developing a local directory portal where hundred of companies will be referenced trough listing page. These companies will be free for example to publish their website url (if these companies already have their own sites) under their page.
Now many companies don’t have their own sites, reason why we want propose to them to get they own domain name who will redirect on their own directory page. For facilitate the domain process and give the minimum hassle to these companies, we register the domain to our name (that mean we are the domain and manager owner) and we configure everything about redirection.
Now about SEO I read in some places, Goggle can attribute a bad PR to link who direct to domain who have the same proprietary. This seem considered by Google for a kind of fraude.
In fact where I afraid especially is about the redirection link. Companies who have a domain redirection can publish on their own directory page the website url…so what can happen when Google will follow this link? He will discover is a domain redirection who point to the same starting page…but I don’t know if this action can be badly interpreted and attribute negative Page Rank.
