Tournament website on wordpress – where to start?

Hi Guys,

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section!)

I am currently working on my second website project, it is a wordpress blog which will be focused on games (releases, latest info, reviews etc.).

I know how to set all of that up, however i would also like to set up a tournament section on the site. The tournament will basically be people purchasing credits. These credits can then be used to enter a specific tournament for a specific game. Obviously, the winner will win a reward of money or credits…

I have no idea where to go about starting this project, i dont know if this is the right place to ask but any help would be great!

P.S. I am not a very good coder, i know basic HTML.
