Spacing gets messed up after submitting form

I finally got all of my contact form to work (if required fields are filled out then redirect, if not then continue and display error message above form). While testing to make sure everything was working, I noticed if you do not fill out all fields and it redisplays the page with the error message, the spacing in between my header image and rest of page expands.
