How does that work?

One I have seen it many times. When you search for pictures on Google some times instead of opening in Google they open in their original website or blog where they were originally uploaded.
Normally when you click on image that is show in search result it opens a window where on the right side there is link that says “Website for this image” by clicking that you go to it’s website or by clicking on the background. But some time they automatically open in their website.
I want to know that is it done by that search engine or is it done by the creator of that image’s website. If the creator of that site is doing this can any please let me know how it is done.
I have a blog and it has daily traffic over 2000 but the problem is all the traffic that my blog generates is through image search. So people are only visiting the search engine page of image not my blog directly. So if I can some how redirect that image to my blog it will increase my earnings.
Can any one please let me know any sort of tutorial or trick for this? ?
