Full Screen Width for all resolutions

Here’s my question. In the browser, I want my page to take up the full screen, not matter what their screen resolution is. I don’t want to use the 100% setting, though, because if the user ISN’T in full screen, I don’t want divs resized, I want the scroll bar to appear.

Does that make sense? If so, is there a way to accomplish this?

@cbVisionJul 19.2011 — So you want it to detect what resolution the user has?

For example, if their monitor is 1280 pixels wide, you want your DIV to be 1280 pixels wide, even if the window size is only 600px?

You may want to look at CSS3 media queries, specifically the "min-device-width" property.
