Using jQuery tools tabs and need to apply CSS only when two classes are active

I am using jQuery tools tabs and it changes the active class to whatever tab you have last clicked, I also have a doubleLine class for one of the longer tabs and have different setting for that. What I’d like to do is something like this:
ul.tabs .active .doubleLine a{
padding-top: 50px;
}

ul.tabs .doubleLine {
line-height:15px;
padding-top: 16px;
}
Where .doubleLine would normally have 16 padding, I want that to change when it is also the active class. I’m not sure this can be done but does anyone have any ideas?

@MarPloJul 05.2011 — Hy,

You can check if an element has or not a certain class, then perfom some instructions.

This is the syntax:
<i>
</i>if ($('anElement').hasClass('class_name')) {
// do something here
}

Success!
