Popup Message Won’t Work With External CSS

Anyone out there ever used this javascript app for popup messages?

Demo is great and will do all that I want but it will not run correctly with link to external style sheet. If I comment out the external style sheet apps runs as designed. Have not been able to find anything else out there that for this purpose. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
