Hierarchical Menus on a Centered Page?

I was wondering if it was possible to use Heirarchical Menus on a site which is aligned to the center of the page.

My experience with HMs is that the only way to define an absolute position for them to pop up is to align the buttons to the left of the screen like this:

[url]http://www.roadrunnersports.com/cgi-bin/rrs/rrs/rrHome.jsp[/url]
(I did not design this site)

But what if the page is centered, like this?
[url]http://www.douron.com/[/url]

Can Heirarchical Menus work here too? If so, can anyone provide an example?

@David_HarrisonJan 06.2004 — I'm afraid that I haven't got time to create an example right now and I don't know where there are any. I can provide you with a possible solution though. You can align the menu's where-ever you want on the page by simply doing this:

position:absolute;

left:50%;

margin-left:-200px;

This will align the left hand side of the menu in the direct centre of the page and then you can use a negative left margin to move the menu to a place you deem more suitable.

Perhaps a willing soul with more time on their hands will be able to help out, but if not then you will have to wait until I get back and create an example.
