Is there anyone that uses any tools which automatically build menus, tabs etc?Something like AllWebMenus or something like this?Do you think that this type of software worths its money?Thank you for your time?
@LiveCityMay 16.2011 — #In most cases - the CMS takes care of that, if you use one. Other than that, if manuals menus and navigation are needed, you might consider a solution that generates the code for you. They will not be dynamic, though...
There are plenty of solutions online though, you might want to consider one of the free ones prior of investing in a tool you'd use once for a website.
@spikymanMar 09.2012 — #Building these things from scratch is a huge pain, and you better know your way around html, css, & javascript.
The tool you mention Allwebmenus, it the best i've found, and it goes WAY beyond menus. The accordion capability give you a way to put a lot of content on a page without making it multiple screens long.
There is some learning curve, but that's only because there are SO many options; you can control almost every aspect of how your widget looks and works. VERY worth while if you are going to use such features more than once!
