Gecko browser float problem

Started my senior project early and boy am I glad. I think I might have run into a float bug in Mozilla of all browsers! I’m not sure.

I’ve got a form with a paragraph of text in it, followed by an unordered list of links I will eventually format into tabs. In mozilla browsers (1.5 and Firebird 0.7) the list does not float beside the form. I’ve attached the HTML and CSS files and would appreciate any help on this.

I’ve done some other experimenting like this and basically have the affect I want already on a different page: http://www.cm-life.com/pages/newdesign/pulse/

I’ve done the same thing on my new design as I did for the page linked-to above.

Why is it that the most annoying problems have the most obvious solution: K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) ?
