Java script image object properties

How to get size of image on webpage ?
I mean size of image file. There are ways to read width,height and src
properties of image object but I didn’t find how to get how many KB the
file has. Nevertheless property information window for images in browser
shows size of file along with width,height,location and alternative text.
So, how to get KB size ?
