Hello,

I’m experienced with many bulk email clients that involve importing a list, creating a template, and scheduling the thing to go. What I’m looking for is a simple tool which allows me to send an HTML email. The steps should be as easy as:

  • 1. Compose new message

  • 2. Type in an email address for where the message should go

  • 3. Paste in an HTML file

  • 4. Send
  • I don’t care about lists, templates, or any other of that extra stuff. I simply want to send an email by copying in HTML. I can’t seem to find a tool anywhere that can do this! Any suggestions?

    @lordspaceApr 07.2011 — Doesn't your WebMail have that already ?

    Google, Yahoo, Hotmail ...

    I strongly advise you use a 3rd party service if you are going to send at more than 20 emails.

    MailChimp had an option to send 6 000 emails for free ...

    @cbVisionauthorApr 07.2011 — Thanks lordspace. Unfortunately, I don't see anywhere in gmail, yahoo, or hotmail where it allows me to drop in an html file and send it. I'm not sending out more than 20 emails ... I just need to send an HTML email to one person.

    @lordspaceApr 11.2011 — here is what you can do.

    create an .html file and open it in your browser.

    then select all and copy. The browser should copy the formatting as well.

    then paste it into Google and send.

    IMHO, I wouldn't sped time for finding a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

    @cbVisionauthorApr 11.2011 — What about images?

    @lordspaceApr 12.2011 — OK. Upload the images on your hosting then create an HTML file that links to them.

    Use full links. You may want to organize the images into folders e.g. 2011/01 the way Wordpress does it.

    You may have noticed that some smart email marketers often write:

    "Can't see the pictures? Add ABC to your address book or view this message in your browser."

    I'm very experienced with sending out HTML emails ... and have used tools such as Constant Contact, Silverpop, and NetSuite to send out mass email communications.

    The problem is they require creating lists or groups and scheduling emails to go. I simply want to send an HTML email to ONE person. The HTML is already built ... i just want to copy it in somewhere, select the recipient, and press send.
