Resolution Issues (Images)

How do I stop an image from moving on a page when you are on different resolutions?

Let’s say Mary’s resolution 1680 x 1050
John’s resolution is 1280 x 1024

John build the site in his resolution. When Mary visits the site the logo image isn’t in the same area EXACTLY as it is on John’s screen.

How do I make it so that no matter the resolution the user will see the image in the same place even upon Zooming in or Zooming out (Hold Ctrl + Mouse Wheel).

@Eye_for_VideoMar 29.2011 — Are you talking about the apparent position shifting because the site is a "liquid" site, always expanding/contracting to cover 100% of the viewers window?

A link to the exact page is always the most helpful, along with exact and detailed description of the problem, location of the problem on the page, etc.

Best wishes,

Not really. The logo might not be in the same position but relative to the viewport. All the elements will be in other position as well, but not relative one to each other. The site will look the same in a higher resolution, except that the elements will be smaller.

If you have a problem, post the code or better a link to a test page.
