Wrap code with Marquee Tag

Gang,

When I wrap vbscript code with the marquee tag, the rest of the data on the html document will not display. When I remove the marquee tag then the data on the rest of the page displays fine.

Thing is, I need to write data using vbscript and have it displayed in a scrolling manner.

Is it not good to wrap server-side script within a marquee tag?

Ever experience this problem when trying to combine marquee tag with vbscript?

@moritanaMar 28.2011 — the marquee tag is deprecated, and is buggy on the browsers now.

I really would not suggest using a marquee tag to move anything.

@ASPSQLVBauthorMar 28.2011 — I tried using some Javascript and wrapping the server side code in a div tag but this is giving me the same problem as well.

Any alternatives would be much appreciated.?

@ASPSQLVBauthorMar 28.2011 — Not fully understanding the one link....tried the applet but does not seem to accept server-side script values to be plugged into the value element/parameter to then be printed out to the client side.

Wow, I thought this would be a breeze but finding out this is much harder than I expected.
