Php Exam – help me please :)

Hi guys,

I am brand new to this forum and have taken web development as my uni course. I basically screwed this year up and am in desperate need of some help.

Theres 2 seen papers i get given and i need to basically know how to make them work from start to finish before i enter the exam.

Now the thing is i don’t actually want to cheat i want to work it out myself if possible so if you could point me in the right direction that would be great!

Pretty sure they will be very easy to you guys, it’s just getting a shopping cart working and something else. Problem is i haven’t had any lessons this year so i’ve forgotten everything i learnt last year.

I can’t actually find any way to attach the papers so anyone that is willing to help will you e-mail me at no email is allowed in the posts and i’ll send you over the papers.

Once I’ve found out how to complete the papers i’ll post up here so everyone can see how i did it ?

Thanks in advance! Josh.

First of all, I have no idea what you are asking. I'm not exactly sure what a "seen" paper is. Also, I'm not sure what it means when you are "get given" a "seen" paper. In addition, I'm not sure how you make a "seen" paper "work". Let me know, and I'll put some "get given seen papers" to "work" mowing my lawn. The grass is starting to grow now that it is Spring, and a good mowing is in order. You mentioned a shopping cart. Now a shopping cart isn't too difficult to produce, but as an old hand at seeing functional requirements, its the "something else" requirement that has my feature creep alarm going off. Software development deals in specifics, so any additional information that you could provide could only help you clarify your task at hand. I'm sorry to read that you have forgotten everything you have "learnt". Apparently that includes your use of the English language, unless of course you were taught everything you were "learnt" in some backwater part of the world. Then of course, your writing style is completely understandable. Finally, you mention some papers that you want to send, but that you cannot find any way to attach them. Next you imply that you're not sure how to complete these papers. Naturally, one would have to find a way complete one's papers before one could actually attach them. If I were you I would first find a way to complete your "get given seen papers" before you actually try to attach them.

One last word: Either you're a troll, you work in marketing, or you have absolutely no chance of completing whatever it is you are trying to complete. IMHO, you should just go to a pub, order up as many drinks as you can swallow, and then try to solicit your pub mates to help you in finding your "get given seen papers". Of course, its entirely possible that you haven't been outside of a pub in the last year, which might be what the problem is to begin with. Good luck with your "get given seen papers that you wish to work and attach if only you could find a way to complete". You're going to need it.

My apologies for my previous post. If you could be clear in what you are asking perhaps I could help. Try to be specific, and take the time to ask your question in a manner that would prompt someone take the time to give you a helpful and thoughtful response.

@joshrichardson1authorMar 23.2011 — No problem, i apologise for waisting your time. I didn't even properly understand the paper paper, think i've got it covered now. I will ask more specific questions if i get stuck again.

Admin feel free to delete this thread.
