Help! Multiple pulls with AJAX.

I’m trying to get my feet wet with AJAX, and am using it with PHP/MySQL. Basically, what I’m trying to achieve right now is a very simple game. You click a button and it pulls random numbers and spits them to multiple elements. I’m eventually going to add comparative functions and what not, but I’ve been unable to find much information on how to pull multiple items through my request and send those items to individual elements.

Can someone just explain how this works?

I have two variables from PHP for two mt_rand() functions. How would I pull those onclick to two elements?
