Hi

I have two questions:

  • 1. Where can I obtain all lists of all localities of all cities of the world to use in search oprtions.

    • 2.

    I have registered a “domain.pt”.

    I would lik to create alias or any other way for each city, like “lisbon.domain.com”, “faro.domain.pt” and so on.

    Do I have to register every single city domain? It would be a pack!!!

    I hope not.

  • 1. You can find these very easily on the internet. You can't be picky about what format you get them in: people provide them freely.


    • You can try a FOIA request: although you will need to find the correct government office to make such a request to.

    FOIA tip: put FOIA in the email subject line, or better yet- look at their site for a FOIA request form. Be specific as you can about what format you want and EXACTLY what information you want. If they need to think too hard- it will take them months.

  • 2. You will need to search for "subdomain".


    • The answer to your question "Do I need to register all of these" is no.
