Configuring DNS to retain Branding on Subdomain

Hi everyone!

I’m using GoDaddy.

For example, if the subdomain reservations.mydomain.com was created with the DNS record type CNAME, and the record value is res99.com, reservations.mydomain.com should forward to res99.com. Fine, this works.

However, For example, res99.com/nexres/search/power_search.cgi is the path to the hotel booking engine which I’m trying to brand.

If the domain reservations.mydomain.com was created as an alias of res99.com, reservations.mydomain.com should produce the following outcome: reservations.mydomain.com/nexres/search/power_search.cgi

However, it just forwards to that domain without keeping my branding as shown above.

In the DNS Manager at GoDaddy, I added:

Enter an Alias Name: reservations.caribbeantl.com correct field?
Points to Host Name: res99.com correct field?

Please advise how I can do this.

Thanks!
