preg_match on a ?

I’m trying to check the url of a submission to see if it contains the delimiter ? or not. This will be used so that I can change any new delimiters to & instead of starting off with another ?.

I can’t find the right expression to use for a preg_match(“/?/”), and I don’t want to use eregi since it’s deprecated now.

So, any ideas?

@beau_kangauthorJan 10.2011 — Never mind, I found my own answer by going to this page. http://docstore.mik.ua/orelly/webprog/pcook/ch13_01.htm

Basically I just have to format it like this :
preg_match("/?/", $foo);
@CharlesJan 11.2011 — But if you are looking for one character then preg_match is way inefficient. Better to use strpos ( http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.strpos.php )
