Creating XML database in JavaScript

Hello, I’m a currently a student, and I have a group project in Systems and Procedures and was voted the developer in the group because I know a little C++ and VB.net.

Problem: We have an HTML form, once submitted, the data gets sent to an XML database, as well as a csv file.

The grade is more on the “procedures” the group does, not the site itself, but we have to have a working prototype, and I don’t know anything about JavaScript or XML!

ANY help will be greatly appreciated!
