Pro:
it saves you the time and effort of writing it yourself. Someone else does all the hard work and you get the benifit of free and easy code.
Con:
Because you didn't write it you can never be sure it's fully secure. You have to adapt to someone else's style to make any modifications and you are at the mercy of the code maintainers for any updates that may or may not come.
Internet marketing benifiting from feedburner? No can't see any benifit there unless you get your feed taken up by lots of feedburner users. You don't get points with google for regurgitating other peoples content, unless you're actually google. These days internet marketing is all about providing rich content, in fact it always has been just not theres not really anyway around it.
Write an original blog ever weeks (minimum), 3 paragraphs full of synonyms abour 200-300 words. and watch how you rocket up the rankings. I saw huge leaps in 2 weeks but saw the full benifit after 6 months with regular high position for my SEO targets. No short cuts to internet marketing sucess anymore.
