Hi,
I have a seemingly simple task, but Javascript is new to me.
The goal is to have a “locks sold” count increase by 1 every 10 seconds. And when 1 is added, an image of a key in a lock will rotate 360 degrees.
So, the count will be shown in a dynamic text field in Flash that loads the count variable from a text file when a visitor loads the page. Then I can add 1 every 10 seconds to the dynamic text field (number of locks sold) within Flash. I’ll have to start the count somewhere around 40,000.
I think I can load the count variable (created by Javascript and sent to a text file?) into the dynamic text field in Flash. It seems like every 10 seconds Javascript would have to send the count variable to a text file.
So basically I just need to start a count from 40,000 and add 1 every 10 seconds. That count needs to run continuously on the server. Flash needs to be able to import the count.
Well thanks in advace,
Dave
