Not sure if this is the correct thread for this but our site is PHP so I’m starting here!
I maintain and develop the company website where I work and we are looking to improve our development and deployment process.
The site was built using Dreamweaver templates as we have a few team members that need to be able to update content using Contribute. When we need to deploy from staging we us the Simple File Deployer which is part of the Contribute Publishing Server.
We want to change to SVN but the deployment aspect is giving us a hard time. It would be nice and easy if we could just do an SVN update from the command line but we are constantly changing pages on a daily basis so we need something more flexible. If we were releasing projects on a schedule then update would be fine, but that’s not how we work.
I’ve searched and can’t find anything that really does the job. Can anyone direct me to a deployment solution that would help??
