new to javascipt

Hi there, i am working with [URL=”http://support.internetconnection.net/CODE_LIBRARY/Javascript_Show_Hide.shtml”]this[/URL] tutorial. I would like if i can link to that page and run script “a2” from the url. tried to add #a2 but no result.. is there anything to make it work?

@PadonakSep 09.2010 — copy the script from that page code and paste is into a newly created txt-file. then save the file like 'script.js'. now you can link to this script from any page like '<script type="text/javascript" src="path_to_where_it_is_stored/script.js"></script>'
